The German Peasant War by Friedrich Engels as a mini book

A miniature book (mini book, micro book) is a very small book (no larger than 100 × 100 mm) whose high-quality features and typography are adapted to the small format, but which must remain usable (readable).

World literature , Bible text and erotica in particular are published as miniature books, mostly in specialized publishers (e.g. Miniature Book Publishing Leipzig) or by artisans (e.g. Minizauber Edition).

The production of miniature books is aimed at collectors who organize themselves in national and international associations and societies (e.g. Sammlerkreis Miniaturbuch eV Stuttgart, Freundeskreis Miniaturbuch Berlin eV, Miniature Book Society) and who cultivate miniature books as part of the book culture.
