Julchen and Jettchen at the Leipzig Fair is a German-language, erotic novel from the mid- 19th century . The author remained anonymous.

The characters in the plot are the two hot-blooded saleswomen Julchen and Jettchen, who get to know a student and a clerk, fall in love with them and finally indulge in voluptuous love games.

author

The authorship of the erotic is so far unproven, and the dating of the publication also causes problems. In a camouflaged copy with the deviating title The lovely sellers, or Julchen's and Jettchen's love adventure at the Leipzig Trade Fair , auctioned in 2016 in Hamburg , 1854 was named as the year of publication.

Paul Englisch (1887–1935) tried in 1931 in his book "Maze of Eroticism" to prove that August Prinz is probably the author of this work. August Prinz was a publisher, printer and probably also the author of erotic novels. He was the owner of the "Verlagsbureau Altona", but his books mostly appeared with fictitious places of manufacture. In his book, English quotes Gustav Gugitz and his assumption that the Hamburg doctor August Wilhelm Christern could be the author of the book: “Gustav Gugitz suspects that he also wrote ... 'Julchen and Jettchen at the Leipzig Trade Fair' and excludes this some stylistic and technical peculiarities.
