Minjor Pernik (ПФК Миньор Перник) (German: Miner Pernik) is a Bulgarian sports club whose football division plays in the A Grupa , the highest Bulgarian league. The association comes from the city of Pernik .

history

Minjor Pernik was founded in 1952 after several small teams in the city had merged into a club. The team played between 1951 and 1962, 1966 and 1970, 1972 and 1977, 1979 and 1981, 1984 and 1985, 1987 and 1989, 1990 and 1992, 1996 and 2001 and from 2008 in the A Grupa . 2002-2004 they only played in the third division. The best seasons were 1954/55 and 1960/61, when the team each reached fourth place in the A Grupa. The club has played in the first division for 31 years.

Ice hockey department

The ice hockey department was founded in 1969 and in the same year merged with the ice hockey section of Metalurg Pernik to become Krakra Pernik . In 1972 this combined team was renamed DFS 'Pernik , before Metalurg split off in 1972 and the ice hockey department played again as Minjor Pernik. In 1977 the game was stopped.

During the existence of the department, it has always participated in the game operations of the Bulgarian ice hockey league. Krakra Pernik was runner-up in 1969 and Bulgarian champion in 1970, while the team as Minjor Pernik reached third place in the 1973/74 season as the best placement .
