Bulgarian ice hockey league

The Bulgarian Ice Hockey League ( Bulgarian : Държавното първенство по хокей на лед) is the highest ice hockey league in Bulgaria . The league, in which the Bulgarian national champions have been played since 1952, is organized by the Bulgarian Ice Hockey Federation BULIHF . HK Slavia Sofia is the record champion with a total of 21 titles.

history

The Bulgarian ice hockey league started playing in 1952. Since then, the championship has been held annually with the exception of the 1957/58 and 2017/18 seasons. All teams that participated in the league in the 2018/19 season came from the state capital Sofia .
