The Italian Hockey League ( IHL ) is an ice hockey league in Italy . It replaced the previous Serie B for the 2017/18 season . The league includes ten clubs in the 2018/19 season. The IHL is the second highest league in Italy after the supranational Alps Hockey League or the championship competition of the Italian AlpsHL clubs, which bears the name IHL Serie A (2017/18 IHL Elite ).

Below the IHL is the Italian Hockey League Division I, the former Series C replaced. In the IHL Div.I eleven clubs play in two regional groups.
