Fuat Uzkınay

Fuat Uzkınay (* 1888 ; † March 29, 1956 in Istanbul ) was a Turkish cameraman and director . Uzkınay made the first film in Turkish film history as a Turkish reserve officer in 1914 .

It was a documentary about the "collapse of the Russian monument". Ayastefanos'daki Rus Abidesinin Yıkılışı was first shown publicly on November 14, 1914. Uzkınay was still very active as a director and cameraman in the early Turkish film industry.
