The film shows the destruction of the Russian monument in San Stefano (today Yeşilköy in Bakırköy / Istanbul ) after it was captured by the Ottoman Army on November 14, 1914. The monument was erected after the Russo-Ottoman War of 1878 to commemorate the fallen Russian soldiers built.
