Minsk Forum

The Minsk Forum is an annual international conference in Belarus with a focus on politics , economy and society . It was founded in 1997 by Rainer Lindner and usually takes place in November in Minsk . The main organizer is the German-Belarusian Society.

The conference examines the political, economic and social change processes in Belarus as well as relations with neighboring countries.

The reason was the ban on contact between Belarus and the European Union .
