Mira Kubasińska (born September 8, 1944 in Bodzechów ; † October 25, 2005 in Otwock ) was a Polish blues singer .

Mira Kubasińska first performed as a singer at the age of eight in front of a larger audience. Together with the guitarist Tadeusz Nalepa , she founded the blues rock groups Blackout and Breakout in the 1960s . She had her greatest successes with Breakout from 1968 to 1982 and was one of the most important blues interpreters on the Polish music scene. After the band Breakout broke up , she withdrew from musical life and only appeared again with various formations at the beginning of the 21st century. In 2005 she died of a heart attack.
