Miradouro dos Balcões
The Miradouro dos Balcões or short Balcões ( port. Balconies) is a tourist important vantage point (port .: Miradouro ) near the town Ribeiro Frio , community São Roque do Faial , on the island of Madeira .
The Miradouro is located on the footpath PR 11, the Levada -Wanderweg Vereda dos Balcões . From here you have a good view of the mountain range in the interior of the island with the highest peaks on the island. From left to right you can see the Pico do Arieiro , the Pico das Torres , and the Pico Ruivo , at 1862 m the highest mountain in Madeira and the third highest point in Portugal .
