Mirante do Vale is a 170 meter high skyscraper in São Paulo , Brazil .

history

The building, which was constructed from 1959 to 1960, is still the tallest skyscraper in Brazil. Until the renovation in 1988, the building was called “Palace Zarzur Kogan”, named after the two architects Aron Kogan and Waldomiro Zarzur , who planned the building.

Since it is located in the lower part of the city in a valley, it looks smaller than these compared to the Edifício Itália or the Altino Arantes Building . Public viewing is not permitted. It has three entrances from Avenida Prestes Maia, from Praça Pedro Lessa and from Rua Brigadeiro Tobias.
