Miriam Horn (* in Hellertown , Pennsylvania ; † unknown) was an American country musician from Pennsylvania.

Life

Miriam Horn was originally from Hellertown, Pennsylvania and first appeared on the music scene in 1944. She wrote the song Shattered Dreams , which was covered by various musicians. From 1945 she was a singer and guitarist on James Allen's Broadway Buckeroos - before that she had worked with Pete Pyle at WSM in Nashville , Tennessee . From the end of 1945 Horn took over the management of the Broadway Buckeroos and could be heard with them in the country show Castle Gardens Barn Dance and Jamboree on WSAN. The group also made appearances in the region.

From 1947 Horn, now with the Rodeo Rangers , could be heard on WSAN in Allentown , Pennsylvania, and on WGPA in Bethlehem , Pennsylvania. Hall and the Rodeo Rangers also made some recordings for Schlegel's Record Company. What happened to Horn and the Rodeo Rangers afterwards is not known.
