Mirrorthrone is a one-man avant-garde metal project by Vladimir Cochet.

Band history

The band was founded in Switzerland in 2000. In 2001 and 2002 two demo tapes were recorded through which the Red Stream Inc. label became aware of the band. In 2003 the first album Of Wind and Weeping was released which was positively received by the metal scene . In 2006 the second album Carriers of Dust was released . Since the band received extremely positive feedback for the second album, another album was recorded and released in 2008 under the title Gangrene .

Racism allegations

The lyrics to A Scream to Express the Hate of a Race were interpreted as racist by some people , whereupon Vladimir Cochet distanced himself from racism, Nazis, White Pride and the like and emphasized that the lyrics referred to the human race in its entirety.
