Miss Olga
Miss Olga is the pseudonym of a cyclist who was born around 1850 and has won numerous races in Europe from 1869. The Russian is said to have also won men's races, but nothing is known about her identity today. Important cycling events at that time concentrated in France (men) and France and Belgium (women). Women's races were very popular during this period. The first few years were dominated by the American "Miss America" Turner and Miss Olga from Moscow . Thousands of spectators were already present at the races.
