Missing Persons
Missing Persons is an American New Wave band that was formed in 1980.
history
Founding members included guitarist Warren Cuccurullo , drummer Terry Bozzio and his wife and singer Dale Bozzio . A short time later, bassist Patrick O'Hearn and keyboardist Chuck Wild joined them as reinforcements. The band recorded the first record , financed by Warren Cuccurullo's father, in 1982 in Frank Zappa's UMRK studio . Dale's excessive make-up and extraordinary voice ensured the band garnered MTV attention in the early 1980s .
Dale and Terry Bozzio met while working together with Frank Zappa and were also married during this time. Warren Cuccurullo met the two of them while recording Zappa's album Joe's Garage . Patrick O'Hearn was also a former member of Frank Zappa's band.
