Products

Mitel develops and sells communication products and systems worldwide that use the Internet protocol to transmit voice and data. The offer consists of cloud services, communication servers, telephone systems, telephones and applications, for example for contact centers and video conferences. According to the company, there are more than 70 million users in almost 100 countries. In addition to communication servers, Mitel offers all the other elements for complete unified communications applications in companies. The basis is the consolidation of all daily used services such as telephony, fax , SMS , e-mail, instant messaging (chatting), web conferences or presence management via open interfaces and standard protocols. All unified communications applications can also be obtained from the cloud. Mitel's communication solutions rely on open standards so that existing business processes and applications can be integrated. Customers only buy what they actually need without having to re-implement the entire ICT infrastructure. The Voice-over-IP projects ( VoIP ), i.e. telephony over the Internet, are based on the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). This standard protocol ensures the greatest possible interoperability. Mitel also offers special solutions for the care and social services, hospital, call center and hotel sectors. The company holds more than 1,600 patents and applications.

Locations

Mitel has five regional offices in the Federal Republic of Germany. In addition, there are sales offices all over Germany and a network of sales partners. Around 3,800 people work for Mitel worldwide.
