Mitford Hall is a country house in the village of Mitford in the English county of Northumberland . It stands in a 34-acre park above the River Wansbeck . English Heritage has the Georgian house as a historical building II *. Grade listed.

In 1828 the Mitford family had it built according to plans by the architect John Dobson . It replaced their old family home, Mitford Old Manor House across the river.

Since 1993, the property has been owned by Shepherd Offshore , a Shepherd family business run by Bruce and Freddy Shepherd .
