Mithridates III. (Commagene)
Mithridates III. Antiochus Epiphanes also as Mithridates III. von Kommagene ( ancient Greek ο ΜιΘριδάτης Αντίοχος Επιφανής ) known, was a king of Kommagene of Armenian Greek descent who lived in the 1st century BC. Lived. Mithridates was a son and successor of Mithridates II.
Mithridates married sometime after 30 BC. The Median princess and daughter of King Artavasdes I of Media named Iotapa . Iotapa gave birth to Mithridates to a son named Antiochus III. When the father of Mithridates' in the year 20 BC Died, Mithridates became king and ruled until 12 BC. Very little is known about his life and reign as king. After his death he was followed by Antiochus III. on the throne.
