Samos II (Commagene)
Samos II. Theosebes Dikaios or Sames for short was of Armenian origin and lived in the 2nd century BC. He was the son and successor of Ptolemy of Kommagene .
Samos ruled as King of Commagene between 130 and 109 BC. During his reign he had a fortress built in Samosata , which is now flooded by the Ataturk dam . Samos died in 109 BC His wife's name is unknown. His son and successor was Mithradates I Kallinikos .
