Mithridates Sinnakes
Mithridates Sinnakes ( Mithridates Sinax ) was a Parthian governor (after Flavius Josephus , Antiquities, 13, 384, Eparch ) in Mesopotamia around 88 BC. In the Seleucid Empire , the two brothers Philip I Philadelphos and Demetrios III fought . for power. When Philip I Philadelphus was in Berea , Demetrios III besieged. this city ruled by the tyrant Straton . Straton called on the Arab prince Azizis and the Parthian governor Mithridates Sinnakes to help, who in turn managed Demetrios III. to capture. Demetrios III. was handed over to the Parthian king Mithridates II .
