The art and historical monuments was an Austrian museum science journal especially on art and historical monuments . The publisher was the Imperial and Royal Central Commission for Research and Conservation of Art and Historical Monuments.
The sheet was the continuation of the communications of the KK Central Commission for the research and preservation of monuments . It was published as a “New Series” from 1875 to 1911 in Vienna from 1875 to 1885 by Gerold, from 1886 to 1893 by Kubasta a. Voigt and most recently at Schroll. It continued with messages from the KK Central Commission for Monument Preservation .
