The Mitteralm (also: Mailalm and Tölle-Alm , formerly: Hoferalpe ) is an alpine pasture in the municipality of Brannenburg .

The Max-Reindl-Hütte on the Mitteralm is under monument protection and is registered in the Bavarian monument list under the number D-1-87-120-65 .

Building description

Max Reindl Hut on the Mitteralm

The Max-Reindl-Hütte on the Mitteralm is a ground floor block building with a flat gable roof , which was probably built in the 18th century.

Other buildings on the Mitteralm are the Mailhütte from 1810, the DR-Dörfler-Hütte , which is used by the Protestant youth, a chapel from the 1980s and the Mitteralm Alpine Club hut opposite the Wendelsteinbahn station .

Todays use

The Mitteralm is bumped , the Alpenvereinshütte Mitteralm is open all year round.

The Mitteralm is located southwest of Brannenburg at an altitude of 1160  m above sea level. NN . The Alm is east of the summit of the Wendelstein directly at the Wendelsteinbahn .
