Jérôme Vaillant
Jérôme Vaillant (* 1945 ) is a French Germanist and historian .
Life
After receiving his doctorate in 1973 at the University of Paris-Nanterre and his habilitation in Lille in 1985, he taught from 1988 as a professor of modern German civilization at the University of Lille III .
His research areas are the political culture of France in Germany after 1945, the history of Germany since 1945, the unification of Germany, German foreign policy and German federalism.
