Medium performance (frequency management)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The average power of a radio transmitter ( english mean power of a radio transmitter ), within the meaning of transmission power , is - according to Article 1158 of the ITU Radio Regulations (Radio Regulations) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) - defined as " power that a radio transmitter under normal operating conditions of the antenna feed line, averaged over a sufficiently long time in relation to the period of the lowest modulation frequency ».

This is also a special term in frequency management that is generally used in connection with the approval of a radio station or the allocation of a radio frequency or a frequency channel.
