The mobile cash withdrawal is a function of an automatic teller machine (ATM), which makes it possible to carry out a self-service cash withdrawal from the ATM with just your smartphone , without a debit or credit card .

functionality

The methods currently widespread for withdrawing money from an ATM mostly use credit or debit cards. The customer's identification data or an account connection are located on their magnetic strips or integrated circuits . No card is used for mobile cash withdrawals . The customer logs into their banking app on their smartphone. There he selects the desired payout amount and, if necessary, the denomination. At the ATM he generates a mobile transaction identification number (mTIN) at the push of a button, which he then enters in the app. He enters the mobile PIN at the ATM to pay out. The method is described in the patent specification "Method and system for cashless payments or withdrawals with a mobile customer terminal".

distribution

The procedure for mobile cash withdrawal is offered by all participating cooperative banks as well as by some institutes (e.g. BBBank , PSD Bank ...) in Germany. These institutes obtain their IT services from the IT service provider Fiducia & GAD IT .

particularities

Minors can also register for mobile payouts. To do this, you need the consent of your legal guardian or legal representative.
