Mocca was an Austrian general-interest magazine that appeared in Vienna between 1928 and 1941 .

history

The magazine was published between July 1928 and July 1938 by the Rob-Verlag of the Jewish publisher Karl Rob , after Aryanization in 1938 until it was discontinued in August 1941 in the Südostdeutscher Verlag by Antonie Keppler under the changed name "Mocca aus Wien". The magazine was based on the publications Das Magazin and Uhu appearing in the German Reich .

The title page of the first issue was designed by Julius Klinger . Karl Rob was the editor and editor until 1938. In terms of content, the magazine was richly illustrated, including nudes from the Manassé studio , and comprised short stories, puzzles and competitions. Even after the Aryanization, little changed in terms of content.

Volume

Initially the magazine had a volume of 100 pages, from March 1929 it was 92 pages, from July 1929 64 pages, November and December 1929 72 pages and from 1930 80 pages. In 1941 the magazine had 72 pages.
