Training

Fashion tailor is a recognized, three-year training occupation according to the Vocational Training Act (BBiG). He is assigned to the professional field of textile technology and clothing. The mono profession is trained in companies in the clothing and textile industry without specializing according to subject or focus. School-based training is also possible.

The training can take place in two stages: After completing the 1st stage (2 years) of fashion sewing , the professional qualification of fashion tailor is acquired in the 2nd stage (1 year).
