Modimolle (Municipality)

The municipality ( Local Municipality ) Modimolle was part of the Waterberg district , Limpopo Province in South Africa . 68,513 inhabitants lived in an area of ​​6,227 km² (as of 2011). The town of Modimolle , which is also the capital of the Waterberg district, was the seat of the municipal administration . Kgaretja Elizabeth Lekalakala was the last mayor.

In 2016 the community became part of the newly established Modimolle-Mookgophong community .

The motto of the community was: Unity Understanding and Success .
