Mogens brake
Mogens Brems (born October 26, 1911 in Copenhagen , † April 10, 1989 there ) was a Danish actor.
Brems came from a family of musicians: his grandfather Peter Rasmussen was an organist and composer, his uncle Alfred Rasmussen was a horn player, his mother Gerda Emilie Rasmussen a pianist and his father Anders Brems a singer. His sister was the opera singer Else Brems , and his twin brother Erik Brems played the clarinet. Mogens Brems himself was a good accordion player and singer.
He trained as an actor in Berlin, Paris, London and New York. At the Royal Theater in Copenhagen he was engaged as a singer for a production of August Strindberg's Miss Julie . At the Danske Theater in 1970 he played Mr Schultz in the musical Cabaret , and the following year he played Pastor Kimball in Brecht's Threepenny Opera . He also had several roles in radio and television productions and starred in the films De pokkers unger (1947), Tante Tut fra Paris (1956) and Jomfruburet (1959).
