Chance Warmack (* 14. September 1991 in Detroit , Michigan ) is an American American Footballer in the National Football League (NFL). He plays for the Seattle Seahawks as an offensive guard . He was previously under contract with the Tennessee Titans and the Philadelphia Eagles . With the Eagles he won the Super Bowl LII .
college
Warmack attended the University of Alabama and played college football with great success for their team, the Crimson Tide . For example, he and his team have won the state championship three times.
NFL
In the 2013 NFL Draft , he was selected in the first round as a 10th overall by the Tennessee Titans . He was able to establish himself immediately and already played in his rookie season as the right guard as a starter . He played in every game in 2014 as well, in 2015 he had to pause for two games due to a knee injury. In 2016 he was only able to play two season games due to a hand injury.
In March 2017 he signed a $ 1.51 million one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles . In the 2017 season he was used in eleven games, three times as a starter. On February 4, 2018, he won Super Bowl LII with the Eagles against the New England Patriots . The following year he played nine games on the field before becoming a free agent.
After failing to play in 2019, Warmack agreed on a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks in March 2020. However, before the start of the season, he made use of the opt-out option due to the COVID-19 pandemic .
