Carolina Panthers
In his rookie season with the Panthers, Barner was mostly only used in the special teams .

Philadelphia Eagles

He reached the play-offs with the Eagles this season , was NFC champion in the course and reached the Super Bowl ( LII ), which they could win against the New England Patriots .
After the 2017 season, his contract with the Eagles expired and Barner became a free agent again.
Carolina Panthers (2nd period)
