NFL
Agholor was selected in the 1st round in the NFL Draft 2015 in 20th place by the Philadelphia Eagles . He was a very interesting and highly regarded player in his draft class because he had a tremendous running speed. In his rookie season and 2016 , however, Agholor fell far short of the expectations that had led to the early selection of the Eagles in the draft, because he had major problems with catching safety, as he simply dropped too many balls as a wide receiver in the NFL and his running routes could not end well.
In the 2017 season, however, Agholor was able to prove his critics wrong, he played in the generally well-functioning offensive of the Eagles this season and showed a very solid season performance. He reached the play-offs with the Eagles and in their course the Super Bowl LII , which the Eagles could win against the New England Patriots with 41:33.
After two seasons of over 60 passes trapped, Agholor's production declined in the 2019 season when he missed five games due to injury. For the 2020 season , he signed a one-year contract with the Las Vegas Raiders .
