Mohammad Ali Najafabadi

Mohammad Ali Najafabadi ( Persian محمدعلی نجف‌آبادی; * 1949 ) is an Iranian cleric, politician and diplomat in retirement .

Career

During the exile of Ruhollah Khomeini in Paris, he translated his speeches into Arabic. In the legislative periods from 1981 to 1984 and from 1984 to 1988 he was representative of the constituency of Tehran in the Majles . During this time he was Parliamentary State Secretary in the Foreign Ministry.

From September 1, 1989 to 1990, he was ambassador to Abu Dhabi .

From 1992 to 1994 he was ambassador to Riyadh ( Saudi Arabia ).
