Career

Massad is one of the youngsters in Saudi Arabia in the defensive position. At his club al-Ahli , he was already successful in winning the 2002 cup and in the 2003 runner-up championship. He mostly played on the left side defensively in midfield or defense. During the 2012/13 season he left al-Ahli for al-Hilal , where he ended his career shortly afterwards.

He was tested in the Saudi Arabian national team for the first time after the disappointing World Cup in 2002 and although he has only played five international matches so far, he was included in Saudi Arabia's squad for the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
