Surname

The museum, Mohren Biererlebniswelt , derives its name from the brewery of the same name ( Mohrenbrauerei ). The name itself comes from Josef Mohr, who ran a restaurant with an attached brewery in Dornbirn in 1784, and he named the house "Zum Mohren". On May 1, 1834, Franz-Anton Huber took over this restaurant and the brewery and kept the name. The Huber family's collection comprises around 10,000 objects, some of which are on display in the museum.

Others

In addition to the museum, a Mohren Lädele (shop) and a creative brewery are offered, as well as beer seminars and training as a beer sommelier . Using a beer configurator in the museum exhibition, it should be possible to find the right beer for each person from 50 international types of beer.
