Moimenta da Serra is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Gouveia . The community had 651 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the communities Moimenta da Serra and Vinhó were merged to form the new community União das Freguesias de Moimenta da Serra e Vinhó . Moimenta da Serra is the seat of this newly formed municipality.
