Mojikyō

Mojikyō ( Japanese 文字 鏡 ) is a group of software and fonts for enhanced logographic word processing. From October 2002 it collected 126,560 / 142,228 characters (CD-ROM / WWW version). Among them are 101,936 / 128,573 characters from the extended CJK family. Many characters are out of date and not in Unicode .

The Mojikyō scripts were created as a method of providing a complete collection of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese characters. It was created to have an easy way to compile Chinese characters as well as Japanese and Korean characters. This was in addition to a large selection of ancient scriptures.

composition

Mojikyō fonts come in a number of packed files of around 2-5 megabytes and contain varying numbers of characters. The characters include the modern Latin alphabet, the Cyrillic alphabet and some other ancient scripts.
