The Moldanubian Terrane (also Terran ) is a microplate in the area of ​​today's Moldanubic . It separated from Gondwana in the Carboniferous and has formed the basement of today's Moldanubic since the Variscan orogeny .

Its formation is related to that of the small continent of Perunica about 300 million years ago.
