The Mukran Molenfeuer is a small lighthouse which , as a lateral sign , marks the entrance to the Sassnitz ferry port .
The octagonal and 14 meter high concrete tower was erected in 1995 on the head of the pier . The green-white-green pier light marks the starboard side of the harbor entrance and shows as identification a green common fire with a recurrence of four seconds (Iso.G.4s). About the lantern is a radar antenna mounted.
The pier fire is operated by Fährhafen Sassnitz GmbH. Since the expansion of the port facility, access to the pier and the lighthouse is no longer possible.
