Molina is a city in the center of Chile in the Región del Maule . It has 27,203 inhabitants (as of 2002).
Molina is located about 209 km south of the capital Santiago de Chile , about 20 km south of Curicó , the capital of the province and about 53 km north of Talca , the capital of the region. The Molina commune ( comuna ) has 35,676 inhabitants and an area of 1552 km², with the capital Molina and many other villages and towns.
