general description
The Molodjoschnaja metro station is located in the Kunzewo district in the western administrative district of Moscow .
It was opened on July 5, 1965 as what was then the western terminus of the Filjovskaya line ("light blue line"). With the expansion of the “dark blue” Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line in a north-westerly direction from Park Pobedy to Strogino, including the Kunzewskaya - Krylatskoje section of the Filjowskaya line on January 7, 2008, the Molodjoschnaja underground station was transferred to the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line , while the Filjovskaya line has since ended in Kunzewskaya.
architecture
The architect of the entrance areas and the platform hall of the underground station was Robert Pogrebnoi.
