Momodou Camara was a candidate for the Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC) in the 2017 parliamentary elections in the Foni Bintang constituency in the West Coast Administrative Region . With 76.46% he was able to win the constituency before Assan Jorbateh (UDP) for himself.
