Regis prograis

Regis Prograis (* 24. January 1989 in New Orleans , Louisiana , USA ) is an American boxer in the Light Welterweight and up to date (August 2018) unbeaten interim champion of the Association World Boxing Council (WBC short). He is under contract with Lou DiBella and is trained by Hylon Williams senior .

Prograis is a participant in the 2nd season of the World Boxing Super Series (WBSS for short).

Professional career

The southpaw made his professional debut at the end of April 2012 with a classic knockout win in Round 1 against his compatriot Carl Almirol.

At the end of July 2016 he won the vacant North American championship title of the North American Boxing Federation (NABF for short) with a victory by TKo over the Colombian Luis Eduardo Florez. He defended this belt twice in a row the following year.

Prograis competed against Julius Indongo the following year for the WBC interim world championship, which was also vacant, and won in the second round through a heavy knockout. In the same year he was able to defend this title against the Argentine Juan Jose Velasco in a fight.
