Mona (song)
Mona (I Need You Baby) is a song by Bo Diddley . It was featured as the B-side of his single “Hey! Bo Diddley ”published in 1957.
Mona was reportedly a song of praise he wrote for a 45-year-old exotic dancer who worked at the Flame Show Bar in Detroit . The song also became the template for Buddy Holly's song "Not Fade Away".
