Monika Götz

Monika Götz (born June 15, 1981 in Würzburg ) is a former German athlete who was successful in the pole vault in the 1990s . On May 9, 1998, in Troisdorf, at the age of 16, she jumped a height of 4.31 m. She set a youth world record (under 18 years), which was only surpassed in the 2006 season by the Russian Waleria Wolik . Monika Götz belonged to the LAZ district of Würzburg . With a height of 1.78 m, her competition weight was 71 kg. She gave up her sport very early because of the fear of it.
