Monika Lugmayr

Monika Lugmayr (born January 10, 1940 in Breitstetten ) is a former Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and farmer. From 1983 to 1998 she was a member of the state parliament of Lower Austria .

After primary and secondary school, Lugmayr attended a home economics school and in 1969 took over her parents' farm, where she was subsequently appointed economics adviser. She also acted as regional chamber councilor from 1980 to 1983, was involved as vice-president of the Lower Austrian relief organization and was also a regional farmer from 1985 to 2000. Furthermore, Lugmayr represented the ÖVP between December 1, 1983 and April 16, 1998 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
