Breitstetten is a village in the market town of Leopoldsdorf im Marchfelde in the Gänserndorf district in Lower Austria .

Breitstetten is located in the southern Marchfeld .

history

The place was mentioned in a document in 1260.

The Danube flood in 1830 also flooded Breitstetten.

Building

The parish church stands in the middle of the wide, slightly curved, partly built-up field. The Randstrasse have a closed one to two-storey building, mostly on the eaves. There are Zwerchhöfe mostly as alley front houses with longitudinal arbors.
