The Mont Alfred Faure is the highest hill of the Governors Island in the southern part of the Géologie archipelago off the coast of the East Antarctic Adélielands .

French scientists discovered it and named it in 1977. It is named after the French meteorologist Alfred Faure (1925–1968), head of the French Antarctic expeditions from 1959 to 1961, from 1961 to 1962, from 1962 to 1963 and from 1966 to 1967, after whom the Alfred Faure Station is named.
