The Monte Česen is with a height of 1570 m slm one of the striking mountains of the Southern Carinthian Alps . It lies as an advanced mountain range on the left side of the Piave River . To the south at its foot lies the “capital” of Prosecco , Valdobbiadene . From there, a well-developed road leads to the summit.
There is a meteorological station on the summit.
