The Monte Corno , together with Rocca di Corno and Rocca degli Uccelli, forms a mountain ridge at about 300 m above sea level in the southern Ligurian Alps, which is characterized primarily by its rocky flanks. Via Julia Augusta runs directly to the east of Monte Corno .
The steep drops are a classic Italian climbing area.
